I left you a present!

On a weekend we had a dogy date. We chose a good spot, that overlooks most of the park. Enjoying pleasures of warm weather we all sat down. Even with bright sunshine in our eyes,we could not help to notice green parcels (park provided poop bags) near. That triggered a mystery: Whats the point of picking up and leaving it laying around? If it will break down and show the poop again! Gazing at each other in disbelief we agreed that’s absolutely foolish to leave it like that.

As I looked more into what are those biodegradable bags everybody been talking about. It comes down to my understanding that we should change to that kind of bags as they are more earth friendly. Lots of places say that regular bags can take till century to dissolve (bad ass!) But these go-green bags break down in days and is great to use even in compost or flush down the toilet. Everything would be grand if people would understand that part, and not leave bags all over the place! Those bags are great for any kind of trash can or your own compost to dig in, but not for leaving them hanging around on every corner! Its like not cleaning up at all! Short term cover!

Here and then I have to clean after some irresponsible owners as I am near the spot and don’t want to step in or “enjoy” the view. On the other hand, how can I know that it wasn’t already picked up before, but baggy magically disappeared!

Please dog owners, no matter what kind of bags you use, walk over to trash can! And if you have a habit of forgetting to take a bag with you, start quickly to work on it (always put couple of bags in your jeans, jacket pockets). As one day you will enjoy another irresponsible owners gift for you! Mind my words; what goes around comes around!
